As a Personal Trainer, I always get comments such as "I wish I had your motivation", or asked the question "How do you stay so motivated?" . Both of these statements are of course based on the assumption that I am in fact a highly motivated person!! Whether this conclusion is drawn from the fact that I'm a Personal Trainer, or my 'inspiring quote' filled instagram page, or my growing collection of colourful Nikes...or a combination of all of these things, the truth is - this assumption isn't entirely accurate. In fact, at times I have felt a tiny bit guilty that I am not always the highly energized and naturally motivated person that many people perceive me to be.
In my opinion, motivation is not genetic, nor is it necessarily a simple secret that can be learned.
This idea of motivation and where it comes from, is what inspired me to start an outlet in the form of this blog, to share some of my personal journey and offer health & fitness hints and advice, in the hope that others can relate to and be inspired to make the most out of each and every day.
Stay tuned for healthy recipes, wellbeing tips, exercise examples, travel experiences, goal setting, mindfulness and much much more!
